Peter Ayscough ended his years-long literary procrastination in 2013 when he submitted a short memoir; The Sandalwood Record Shop to Brisbane’s Lyre Journal. Since then he has written a number of short stories, memoirs, a radio play and four stage plays. He is currently working on his first novel: The Worm, which he hopes to complete this year. Peter likes speculative fiction, realism/absurdism (and all other “ism’s”), clever, boundary-pushing stuff, allegories and ghost stories. He has lived in Brisbane since 1990.
